What does the Kingdom of God look like? What does it do? And how does the Gospel of Luke provide a unique lens on it?

Blue River Community Church begins a new sLukan that dives into powerful stories only found in the Gospel of Luke—parables, encounters, and teachings that reveal a radical, upside-down Kingdom. A Kingdom where the lost are found, the poor are lifted up, the outsider is welcomed in, and grace is always on the move.

Join us as we explore how these uniquely Lukan moments open our eyes to the heart of God’s Kingdom—and what it means to live as citizens of it today.

Just as each part of the human body has a unique function, every member of the Body of Christ possesses gifts intended to edify and strengthen the Church. As believers, God uniquely equips us with gifts, talents, skills, and passions, and we have the opportunity every day to use our gifts to point people to Jesus.

Now more than ever, people need to see and feel the love of God through His people. This class, taught by A.J. Austin, will help participants discover their calling and ways they can utilize what God has given them to continue to bring forth the Kingdom of God.

Quartly Mission Giving
Mission of the Quarter Gift

Being part of a Christian community invites more than simply showing up; it means becoming co-owners and co-creators with God. The Kingdom is not about us. The mission of every follower of Jesus was given in Matthew 28:18-20, which tells us to go and make disciples.

Each quarter, Blue River Community Church designates 10% of weekly giving, which for this quarter was about $1,200, to support missions and needs within our own Columbia City community. This commitment reflects our belief of Knownig God, Loving Neighbor, Living Justice, Forever.

Another quarter is upon us. Please talk to any member of the Church Council with your ideas for how we can continue to serve our community through this quarterly mission giving; we’d love to hear from you.
